How to Read Your Maratha Book Account Statement
Your account statement is the single most useful screen on any platform — and the one new players open least. Learn to read it and you’ll always know exactly where your money stands.

| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| Balance | The total money in your ID. |
| Exposure | Money currently at risk in open bets, held until markets settle. |
| Available balance | Balance minus exposure — what you can use right now. |
Example: balance ₹2,000 with ₹500 exposure means ₹1,500 available. When the market settles, the ₹500 is either released or deducted.
Common statement entries
- Deposit — money credited after the desk verified your payment.
- Withdrawal — money taken out of your ID to your account.
- Settlement — the result of a finished market, positive or negative.
- Void — a cancelled bet with the stake returned.
- Commission — a fee on net winnings, on platforms that charge one.
Profit and loss (P&L)
The P&L view shows your running results, usually filterable by date. Check it weekly. It is the most honest measure of what online play is actually costing — or returning — over time.
Three habits worth building
- Open your statement before every session, not just after.
- Compare deposits to your planned budget each week.
- If a number looks wrong, screenshot it and message the desk.
